10 BIGGEST MOVIES OF 2012

2012 had the big movies and the small movies; the excellent ones and the total garbage. But here’s a list of the top ten biggest movies that were released in 2012.
10. MADAGASCAR 3: EUROPE’S MOST WANTED $216.3M
Ben Stiller and the gang returned to give me the best animated feature in my books for 2012.
9. TED $218.6M
He’s vile, he’s foul, he’s z fuzzy little teddy bear…oh and he smokes weed with Marky Mark to land at number 9.
8. THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY $222.7M
Well, what can i say…it’s based on a Tolkkien book and its directed by Peter Jackson. And get this, the movie is only about 3 weeks old; so expect it to gross more.
7. BRAVE $237.2M
This animated feature includes a bulky king, a red haired chick and…wait for this…her mother turns into a bear. Yikes!
6. THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN $262M
Who would have thought Andrew Garfield+Spiderman=Blockbuster….but let’s face it,Andy okay as Pete Parker, photographer by day and web slinger by…well, whenever else.
5. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN PT 2 $286.1M
Ok, i didn’t like this movie franchise and i’m glad the “Saga” is finally over, but you can’t deny it was a blockbuster.
4. SKYFALL $289.6M
Blonde bond came into town with another weird movke title and an equally blonde villain to blow minds again with Sam Mendes at the helm this time.
3. THE HUNGER GAMES $408M
Well Katniss and Co held it down with the game of death to outgross some sucka movies though. Plus the movie did have Liam and Josh.
2. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES $448.2M
Throw in Batman, Catwoman and Bane in the mix and what do you get? A $160M opening weekend and a total gross of over $400M, that’s what.
1. MARVEL’S THE AVENGERS $623.3M
Yeah of course you guessed right, i mean this movie grossed over $200M in its opening weekend. The Avengers is unarguably the biggest movie in 2012.
