THE TEEN TITANS
Arsenal FC fielded eight teenagers in Tuesday’s 2- 0 win over West Bromwich Albion in one of England’s 3rd round Carling cup ties with goals coming from Sanchez Watt and Carlos Vela. The teenagers are running business all round, aren’t they? To tell you the truth, I think it’s only “the professor,” Arsene Wenger that can manage these teen titans. Any other coach (not Amodu) would probably earn the team a quick relegation. Two thumbs up kids, you guys might just win the Premier League before you can legally drink beer.
BORING, BORING ‘POOL
Fred: Leeds United 0- 1 Liverpool
Barney: wait, what did you say? Leeds 0- 1 Liverpool. Wow! Only one goal?
Fred: there you have it
Barney: at least they won. Who scored?
Fred: N’gog, just before the 80th minute with their 2nd clear chance of the game.
Barney: it took them that long against Leeds?
I had fallen asleep when the goal came. The cheer of the fans woke me up. After such a brilliant display from United, it was a pity that boring Liverpool took the day, waking up only after they scored. I guess inexperience will always shoot you in the foot.
